Currently we use a 20x water immersion objective, but we would like to also have a 10x water immersion one. A designated new multi-photon objective is out of our immediate budget (From Google it appears > 20K Euros). Does anyone have experience with using lower end 10x objectives for 2p calcium imaging at cellular resolution on a setup configured for Olympus objectives? Happy holidays! Jan Tonnesen |

There are resolution measurements in our paper (Fig. 8) for 780 and 1030nm: https://www.osapublishing.org/boe/fulltext.cfm?uri=boe-9-5-2457&id=386025 Mike On Wed, Dec 23, 2020 at 3:52 AM Jan Tonnesen <[hidden email]> wrote: > ***** > To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: > > https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__lists.umn.edu_cgi-2Dbin_wa-3FA0-3Dconfocalmicroscopy&d=DwIFaQ&c=kbmfwr1Yojg42sGEpaQh5ofMHBeTl9EI2eaqQZhHbOU&r=0LyF_z8oU1XGGyisIeOIXyIGIM5IYb3NcLjxHjUca5Y&m=0usYJ4_vukbZ9nC40dwnpxdZgkldncqIO8755mXot34&s=5PdD4MAP8Nyfir10omDeTkok763QbSmjgIwymk_TNsg&e= > Post images on > https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.imgur.com&d=DwIFaQ&c=kbmfwr1Yojg42sGEpaQh5ofMHBeTl9EI2eaqQZhHbOU&r=0LyF_z8oU1XGGyisIeOIXyIGIM5IYb3NcLjxHjUca5Y&m=0usYJ4_vukbZ9nC40dwnpxdZgkldncqIO8755mXot34&s=LSBYfJYW-pm3DCfU3CgSQAWPea8zlsFqeGCcWlIoNeA&e= > and include the link in your posting. > ***** > > Hi everyone > > We are doing 2-photon calcium imaging in brain slices on a setup based on > Olympus objectives.
