10x objectives for multiphoton work?

Hi Adrian,

Zeiss have a water immersion 10x / 0.45

ziess objective database says its 65% at 1000 nm.
C-Apochromat 10x/0.45 W M27

it expects a 0.17 coverglass....so you must look through a window....but
1.8 mm Working distance...

didnt try it for 2 photon yet.... we have it on a widefield system.

There is no 10X N: 0.45 water immersion Zeiss. I used it on a 2P. It is really
good but less than the 20X water immersion. With which we have obtained
more than 980micron deep in adult mouse brain (Dextran-marking rhoamine).
Be careful not to put water on the front otherwise very poor results. There is
a 10X water immersion but really not very good.

There is a 25x water inmersion in Olympus, with 82% transmittance from 400nm to 1000nm, so you can imagine that this can easily can go down about 1mm or so, on a regular basis, this one is designed specially for deep imaging and 2P, there is some transparent embryo technique that can achieve even more thant that
