I have tried to approach Leica to test this objective in a conventional SP5 microscope but the only unsatisfying answer I got from Leica was the GSD system is manufactured in a different unit from the confocals and the GSD people are, understandably, reluctant to let me remove it and try on our confocal. I had previous excellent experience with a 150x TIRF on a spinning disk system. Has anyone tried the 160x on a confocal microscope? Any inputs? Thanks ! Not sure if the GSD has a specific tube lens matching that objective as Leica is never forward with these things...
