http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocalI use the .17 PEN membrane slides for immunofluorescent labelling rather
frequently, without any problems, for what it's worth. I have noticed
that the PAP pen can dissolve/tear the membrane rather easily, so avoid
that. I typically give them a dip in ethanol then let them dry on a
slide-warmer for a few hours before microdissecting so that they're
completely dry, etc...
