The course will run April 28-May 8, 2020. Applications are due February 5, 2020. Apply through the course web site at http://www.mbl.edu/aqlm <http://www.mbl.edu/aqlm?fbclid=IwAR1ePhVPhrSNCOhYCP7GEV3q7Pj276twEGxvaYhYsOBR9l_YnQu4bXMArMg>. We especially invite those from underrepresented groups to apply. Reach out if you have any questions! AQLM is a comprehensive and intensive course in light microscopy for researchers in biology, medicine, and material sciences. This course provides a systematic and in-depth examination of the theory of image formation and application of digital methods for exploring subtle interactions between light and the specimen. This course emphasizes the quantitative issues that are critical to the proper interpretation of images obtained with modern wide-field microscopes, confocal microscopes, and new emerging technologies. Applications are due February 5, 2020.
