Dear colleagues

I have high demand for the immersion oils, that enable live-cell
microscopy at 37°C (na 37°C = 1.518). Each manufacturer offers a 37°C
immersion oil, specific for their objective lenses and packing volumes
are rather small. Do you have any idea, who is producing the 37°C
immersion oils for the various manufacturers and if I can directly order
these products, independent of the companies who are producing the lenses?

Thank you for your help

Philipp

Hi Philipp,

I "THINK" many of the manufacturers get their oil from Cargille.

Agreed. Cargille is a great resource.

Cargille Type 37 is what you want. A point of interest is that you can
safely blend it with Type B to achieve intermediate temperatures between 37
and 23 degrees depending on the mix ratio.
