From the archive, I see LSM Tech in the US has been mentioned, but I am looking for a company covering the UK. This comes from the department leadership suggesting to keep microscopes running for longer once manufacturer support ends or just to save money. This would be for SP5, LSM 780 generation of instruments. I could see issues with availability of spare parts, level of knowledge of the service engineers and response time / equipment down time. Please let me know what you think. Maybe someone wants to set up such a company and stock spare parts? best wishes Andreas |

Zeiss trained I believe. Helped me with an Ultravox system, and was recommended by a colleague for Zeiss systems. K-Tec does preventive maintenance and repairs for Zeiss widefield microscopes after the official end of service.
