APX resin

Search the CONFOCAL archive at
http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal

Good morning. One of my users will bring me samples mounted with an
unspecified "APX resin" of his, but is unable to give me any further data:
I haven't found anything, neither in the archive nor outside it. Have you
got ay clue of it? Do you know if it's not suitable for confocal?
Thank you for your help.
Andrew

Could it be a typo for DPX?
