Hi Heather,
We had the AZ-100 coupled to Nikon C1 in our lab before it officially
came out as a product. Now we have the AZ-100 coupled to a Nikon C1Si
(Confocal and spectrometer). I primarily use it for imaging
invertebrates, we have imaged entire oysters with one of the shells
removed on the AZ as well as whole barnacles. We are pleased with this
system. The 5X objective is really good it has long working distance and
the correction collar allows you to adjust the lens in various imaging
conditions

Subject: AZ100 confocal
Hi,
I am interested in the Nikon AZ100 confocal system. Has anyone seen it
or worked with it?
I am curious what the actual optical resolution is?
I read on the Nikon WebPage that the 5x objective supposedly has an N.A.
0.5, which
sounds very good? Is this correct?
Thanks a lot
Heather
