Hi All,

We're looking for an ablation system that would fit on a TiE and be
controlled by a DAC board.  We have a MicroPoint, but we are looking for
other options.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Re: Ablation systems

We are in the process of getting a Bruker Mini-Scanner that will be on a Nikon Ti and driven directly by NIS Elements
Happy to talk further offline if you like

Josh

Commercial Response:

3i's Ablate! would be a potential option for this MicroPoint replacement.

Let me know if you'd like more information Gary and we can talk shop.

We are happy with our Rapp Optoelectronics UGA-scanner installed on one of our Olympus Widefield systems, most likely this will also be available for Nikon Setups.

We also have an Olympus FV1200 confocal with SIM scanner on which we have three pulsed lasers on the second scanner port for nanosurgery, ablation of cells, DNA damage, marking/branding (coverslip or tissue) for correlative work, uncaging of caged compounds.
Obviously this will not work as an add-on in combination with a Nikon scope.

Some years ago we tested the Cellsurgeon from Rowiak. It was very good for nanosurgery and ablation, but back at that time a good time-lapse option was missing, maybe it is worth checking the current status.

I also saw a presentation by Roper Scientific France of their iPulse system (during an ELMI meeting), which should work with Nikon according to their brochure.

I am happy to answer more detailed questions offline.

Stefan
