Hello:
I have a user wanting to add a spinning disk option to a LSM410 (Axiovert). He is looking at a Yokogawa unit. Anyone managed to do it? (I will admit that my LSM410 is already modified for 2-photon non-descanned so this port might need further modification or a different reflection slider.) He wants the fast imaging from it and prefers to avoid widefield. Thank you, Sophie ____________________________________________________ Sophie M. K. Brunet, Ph. D. Hi, Sophie - This is likely going to depend upon your stand - the
Axiovert and what mirrors, etc., you have in it. We have an Axiovert
200M and that has 2 side ports, 1 left and 1 right. I think you can get
it configured to be 100% to either, which would be what you would want,
so you can have your LSM410 on the left port for instance, and then put
the spinning disk on the right port. On our model, I know it is
difficult to change these mirrors out in the field. Also, just FYI,
Zeiss is selling a spinning disk model now, so maybe they have some
sort of integration they could do for you.
Good luck, Holly Molecular Imaging Center Cancer Research Laboratory 447 Life Sciences Addition #2751 Berkeley, CA 94720-2751 510.642.2901 510.642.5741 FAX [hidden email] http://imaging.berkeley.edu Hello: I have a user wanting to add a spinning disk option to a LSM410 (Axiovert).
