Dear Facility managers and users
It is with pleasure that we release first candidate of agendo®, an open source (EUPL) software for resource scheduling. ####################################### some features .user friendly interface .feature videos for teaching users .completely resource dependent configuration. It can be used for equipment, seminar rooms, people, etc. .ability to repeat week pattern .multi-entries in one go .Configurable resource specific information with obligatory fields .Assistance request with alert for the administrator .In situ confirmation with comments which are sent immediately to the administrator .user alert in case of confirmation failure .user->resource different permission levels .waiting list with alert to next user in case of deleted entry .possible integration with complete monitoring system (ekrano®) .full control by complete back-office .configurable administration/visualization levels .reports for statistics, invoicing completely configurable and with csv export .alert message via SMS or email ####################################### demo site http://calendar.igc.gulbenkian.pt/demo/ administrator user:admin pwd:agendo regular user user:demouser pwd:cirklo Please do not change them otherwise you will block others access. If you need fancy features create a new user please. ###################################### modus opperandi Resources can operate in 4 different modes: technician operated - the responsible confirm or denies user entries. Every entry as a .ics attach so that the technician can add to ical, outlook, etc. A warning is sent to the user with the information. User operated with in situ confirmation - Users book and then, during resource usage, they have to confirm on equipment computer they where there. When they make the confirmation they can add a comment that goes directly to resource admin. User operated - Works like a simple calendar. Notwithstanding, together with 'User operated with in situ confirmation' users can requeste assistante. Again, a warning is sent to resource admin with .ics attachment. Without calendar - agendo® can be integrated with mesuro® an open source solution for harware monitoring. It works with ZigBee (eg, used in home automation) wireless protocol/ehternet. We are at the moment using it to monitor confocal usage -whenever there is someone using it without scheduling there's a SMS sent to admin-, -80c, FACScan and FACScalibur pressure, etc ###################################### Help You can find a simple help on http://calendar.igc.gulbenkian.pt/agendo.php For further details please email [hidden email]. This will help us to extend and improve online information.
