Alexa 350 - excitation with 405nm ?

Search the CONFOCAL archive at
http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal

Dear list,

I am asking on behalf of another user. Is it possible to excite Alexa
350 in any way with a 405nm laser? Did anybody ever try this?

cheers,
Michael

Re: Alexa 350 - excitation with 405nm ?

Search the CONFOCAL archive at http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal Hello!

I tried by flow cytometry the AnnexinV-Alexa350, the signal is clearly weaker than the same annexin conjugated to Alexa 405 but it allowed me to distinguish my population.

But, sorry I did not try by confocal!
