We contacted Tokai Hit and they said that this is within specs. They sell a water pump that replenishes the water supply over long periods of time, but due to some testing issues they are not able to sell this product to the US. Since it is a small water pump, I am sure that we would be able to use one from a third party. Does anybody here have any experience with using a third-party water pump with a stage incubator like that of Tokai Hit and could maybe recommend one? Using the fill ports, we just add 5ml of distilled water every 12 hours. Seems to work well. We also put a 35mm dish of water inside the chamber, beside our sample. It's just another reservoir. Best.
