And if so, did you get SP to re-install or were you able to reinstall
yourself?

Thanks!!

We're about to move an InSight MP laser with our SP8 confocal for the second time, we got/will get the vendors to do it. Both times in conjunction with a building change so this was funded by the building fund.

cheers,

We had SP swapped two lasers between two buildings.
After swap, one MaiTai Deepsea stops working but yes, SP got it fixed later.

Thanks for all the help, everyone! It seems that it is working!! I just
wasn't sure about the exact placement of the DS unit since there is quite a
bit of wiggle room... but looks like we are getting lazing and should be up
and running again in no time!!

Cheers,
 Holly

I had two MaiTai DeepSees moved earlier this year from one room to another on the same floor. SP handled all the de-installation, moving and re-installation for a fee, covered by my renovation budget. As noted by another poster, one of the units began to malfunction following the move and SP had to repair it, which was covered under the service contract.
