Hi. If you are in the Bay Area stop by Merritt College this Saturday, 4/13, to help us celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Merritt Microscopy Program!
What: Biofest, a science fun for all ages event
Where: lobby of Barbara Lee Science and Allied Health Building, Merritt College, Oakland.
When: this Sat, 11-3 pm
The speakers include:
Ariel Waldman on her recent microscopy expedition to Antartica.
Derek Leong on a new optical superresolution surface scanning scope with intuitive software.
Anthony DiFranco on the open insulin project.
Casey Harper on the wild oyster project.
We will also give demos of all our scopes, have a tabletop SEM you can use, plus give tours, talk careers. There are even door prizes and a kid’s tinkering table.
