The ABRF (society statement below) is sponsoring a brief (12 multiply choice
questions) survey of light microscopy laboratories and core facilities. We
would greatly appreciate your input. Feel free to pass this survey on to
others you think might be interested.
A small group (Richard Cole, Carol Bayles, and Michael Cammer) is assessing
the interest in establishing a focus group within the ABRF targeting light
microscopy. One of the ideas beyond the survey is a multi-site imaging
project.

The Association of BioResource Facilities is an international society
dedicated to advancing core facilities and research labs through research,
communication, and education.
Activities and Benefits include:
. Participating in multi-site imaging projects. These would help you
assess the performance of your systems by comparing with other labs.
. Share ideas for facility management, training and maintenance.
. Join ABRF, attend the annual meeting and receive the Journal of
Biomolecular Techniques. www.abrf.org . Interact at meetings or via email
with individuals who share a similar position, such as core manager.
. Help lead this group via direct action or as a consultant
