Dear Colleagues,

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Crick Advanced Light Microscopy Science and Technology Platform (CALM-STP). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced microscopist to employ and develop their skills supporting advanced light microscopy at one of the premier research institutes in Europe.

The Senior Microscopist will advise Crick researchers on the use of microscopy in their work, including experimental design, approaches to imaging both living and fixed specimens, development of protocols, and assistance with the analysis and interpretation of experimental data. The core responsibilities of this post are to ensure that microscopes within the facility are well maintained and to train CALM users to set up and use the microscopes correctly. This role will also assist with commercial equipment demos to support procurement of imaging equipment both for the core facility and for the institute as a whole.
