it's my pleasure to announce you that the CARV-II and CARV-LX Confocal
Spinning Disk System is finally BACK!
What has been considered a smart and cost effective solution for confocal
microscopy is again available as a complete self standing system or as an
upgrade for existing wide field fluorescence microscopy systems.
BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) and Crisel Instruments - Italy- have
recently reached an agreement about the transfer of CARV technology to a new
start up called CREST ( CRisel Electrooptical Sytems & Tecnology
www.crestopt.com ).
CREST Is part of the Crisel Instruments group and is already in charge of
manufacturing the CARV II, and for the development new products based on
CARV patent, since last July 2009.
CrEST is in charge of world wide sales and is already supported by all
existing previous distributors for commercial and technical support.
Starting from July 1st 2009 CrEST-Crisel Instruments is providing in
warranty and out of warranty technical assistance to all existing systems.
During the last Chicago Neuroscience 2009 the Laser driven version CARV-LX
has been announced and new generations of CARV system are now in development
and will be announced very soon.
