Dear List members--

The server here at Minnesota has been getting hammered by attempts to
download the entire list archive.  As a result, for the time being,
access to lists.umn.edu has been restricted and you probably won't be
able to confirm your messages by clicking on the link.

If that's the case, confirm your posting by replying to the confirmation
email.  The text of your reply should be "OK" with no quotes.  --These
instructions will also be on your confirmation email.

Sorry for the inconvenience.  We'll see if we can find a way to allow
list members access without making the site vulnerable to denial of
service.
