Product Support Engineer (ref:07/39)
We
are now recruiting for a PRODUCT/FIELD SUPPORT
ENGINEER within our Sales
ROW team. The engineer will assist in meeting the team objectives through
the effective provision of pre and post sales support. The role will encompass
a wide range of tasks to include; demonstrating and installing equipment to
facilitate sales, responding to technical queries from customers, staff and
distributors, the general support and training of customers and staff and
facilitating the efficient handling of customer returns and demonstration
stock,
Essential
Criteria
The
successful candidate will be a team player, willing to travel internationally
representing Andor in a professional manner. They will also have:
Ø
A third level qualification in a science or
Engineering discipline (HNC or equivalent)
Ø
A minimum of 6 months experience with the
installation of microscopy systems, including the set up of PCs and training in
the use of software
Ø
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Ø
Computer Literacy
Ø
An ability to work outside core hours due to
extensive international travel.
Desirable
Criteria
Ø
International Experience.
Ø
Foreign language – basic fluency
