arivis AG is looking for two talented and driven persons to join their research team on PhD (Computer Sciences) positions for Image Analysis within the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks “Deciphering PI3K biology in health and disease (Phd)” and “Regulation of red cell life span, erythropoiesis, survival, senescence and clearance (RELEVANCE)”.
arivis develops and provides IT solutions focused on the Life Sciences industry and provides advanced solutions for image interaction and analysis to its customers (arivis Vision4D, arivis WebView, arivis InViewR).
During the 36 month project run-time, the researchers will work on advanced methods for segmentation and classification of red blood cells and for automated and interactive tracing of 3D tree structures within a scalable and automated analysis environment.
EU funding regulations demand that the applicants should not have worked, studied or lived in Germany for more than 12 months during the last 3 years. For further information see the detailed descriptions at
