Dear All,
we are happy to invite you to our free web seminar on
“Temperature Control in High-Resolution Microscopy”
TODAY, 18.11.2020, 5 pm CET.
In this seminar, Daniel Böning from Interherence GmbH will introduce our newly developed micro-heating system VAHEAT that enables precise temperature control in the FOV when working with immersion medium based objectives.
Philipp Tripal, from the Optical Imaging Centre Erlangen, Germany, will talk about important requirements for live-cell imaging and will show a glimpse of his research on vesicle transport in neurons.
Mart Krupovic, from the Institut Pasteur in Paris, France, will present the recent advances in the understanding of the morphological and structural diversity of archaeal viruses, and uncover some of the molecular adaptations underlying the stability of archaeal viruses in extremely hot acidic environments. Finally, he will highlight the mechanisms of virus-host interactions in Archaea, especially those that could be further understood through the development of live-cell imaging approaches.
