Hi everyone,
MBF Bioscience (the company I'm with) has released a free Windows tool,
MicroFile+, for converting big image data into the ubiquitous OME tiff
format as well as our own jpeg2000 compressed format. MicroFile+ maintains
original metadata, and allows the addition of metadata fields and values.
We're hoping the tool is a useful contribution to FAIR image efforts in
microscopy (more on FAIR here
https://www.nature.com/articles/sdata201618).
There's more info and a link to a download form here:
https://www.mbfbioscience.com/microfileplus This project is my baby, so if you have any suggestions feel free to drop
me a note (Plus, it would be cool to hear from some of you; I haven't
posted here in a long time.).
More formal support for MicroFile+ is provided by a user forum at:
https://forums.mbfbioscience.com/c/Image-and-Data-Management/microfileStay safe and scientific!
Nate
