*********** Commercial Response ***********

Dear Christian,

We’re sorry to hear that you got the impression of subpar service with us. As others have already noted, this is absolutely not our standard. In fact, during a STEDYCON demo 91% of problems are solved on the same day and close to 100% within the next three days.

Please also consider that for these demos, we install the STEDYCON on your own microscope body, which is unfamiliar to us until the very day of installation. You’d be hard pressed to find another vendor who can provide the personnel, technology and dedication required to do this. Most of the time, we get rewarded, although on rare occasions – as in your case -- we’re unlucky, and a faulty objective lens gets in the way of a successful demo.

Nevertheless, thank you for your honest feedback. If you happen to be at the ELMI meeting in Dublin, please feel free to come by our booth to discuss this in person. We’ll also have the latest version of the STEDYCON there, now with:

- crispy confocal performance (multiple improvements were made on the detection),
- new laser lines,
- more detection channels, and
- a variable pinhole.

We hope you’ll give us another chance with the new system, and we’ll make extra sure this time that we thoroughly test the objective lens before.

Best regards
-Janina

Hi,

we had a Stedycon demo end of last year for 3 weeks. We could only test it for 1 week as abberior couldn't get it into working condition for 2 weeks. We have been very disappointed with the quality of their service.

As Josef already mentioned the device is quite restricted in what it can do. Furthermore, we observed photoconversion of the STAR RED dye which can make interpreting your results quite an adventure.

If you want more details about our test please feel free to contact me off list.

Best,

Christian
