Dear colleagues,

We have designed a short survey to test the effectiveness of different
(F)PALM/STORM visualization methods for a simple classification task on
challenging data sets. Please consider donating *5 min* of your time to do
the survey.

(The survey is anonymous, but you will have the option to provide your
email address to receive updates on the results.)

The more people taking the survey, the better: *please share the link with
your lab members and colleagues!* We believe the exposure to different
visualization methods (beyond Gaussian and histogram renderings) can also
be a valuable educational experience for people new to the field. We
encourage you to also share the survey with your classroom.

We plan to share the results of the survey analysis with the greater
community.

With best regards

David Baddeley & Joerg Bewersdorf

Dear All,

I have joined the team at Aurox Ltd this year as Head of Sales.

Aurox are the manufacturer of the laser free spinning disk confocal systems known as the  Andor Revolution DSD and DSD2, as well as the Vivatome from Zeiss.

We have now started to market and support our laser free spinning disk confocal products directly from our head office in Oxfordshire, UK, and we would like to hear from any Revolution DSD or Vivatome users so that we can help you with any support you might need with your equipment going forward.

We have also re-written the control software to make it extremely easy to use, and certain users with compatible systems may benefit from upgrading their firmware and software to get the best out of their system.

Do get in touch with me by email ([hidden email]) if I can be of any assistance to you

I look forward to hearing about your experiences with the Aurox technology in the past and I look forward to offering you the best support going forward. Perhaps we will see each other this summer at MMC in Manchester, the NIH research festival, CellBio or Neuroscience.

With best regards

Phillipa Timmins
