Dear Colleagues:
We are proud to announce that the 4th edition of the “From 3D Light to 3D EM” meeting on correlative volume microscopy will be held at the VIB March 21st to 23rd, 2018. This meeting is co-sponsored by VIB and Zeiss and will focus on the developments in correlating high resolution light microscopy with Serial block face SEM, FIB-SEM and array tomography. The meeting is composed of symposia, workshops and round table discussions and keynote lectures will be given by Professor Mark Ellisman, UCSD, NCMIR, Harald Hess, HHMI Janelia Farm and Lucy Collinson Francis Crick Institute. The VIB is located in the beautiful and historic city of Ghent, Belgium which is 60km from Brussels and easily reached by rail and air. Opportunities to present your own work as a poster or talk are available. Registration for the meeting is free but places are quite limited so early registration is advised.
We are also pleased to announce a satellite 3View users group symposia co-sponsored by VIB and GATAN which will occur on March 20th, 2018. This meeting is for current 3View users as well as interested potential users and is also free to register for.
