CytoVu imaging slides; microscopy-enabled transwells

SiMPore Inc. has combined nanotechnology and old fashioned engineering to create a transwell-like device for use on a microscope.

Featuring ultrathin membranes that are optically transparent, CytoVu imaging slides provide all of the benefits of a traditional transwell, but have been designed to be used on a microscope.  Researchers can use our device to easily take images of cultured cells.  Researchers culture cells, conduct their experiment, and image all on one easy to use imaging slide.  Now you can take high-quality confocal images of cells cultured on a membrane.

Features:

-  Easily accessible apical and basal wells for culturing cells.
-  Variable basal well depths to allow for a large range of working distances.
-  Assembly mounted on a 1.5 glass coverslip on a standard-size slide (25 mm x 75 mm).

Possible Applications:

-  Cellular Co-culture
-  Migration/Invasion
-  Microenvironment
-  Stem Cell Differentiation
-  Drug Absorption
-  Polarized Cell Growth
-  Intercellular Communication

At SiMPore, we are a company of scientists and engineers that try to be an invaluable part of our customers' scientific process.
