This is a follow-up on my previous messages with subject "DeltaVision
softWoRx Workstation (CentOS) HDD crash - rebuilding system from scratch".
I have managed to rebuild the CentOS and softWoRx environment (without
any help from API/GE), entirely with the use of software and packages
that are freely available, as well as the softWoRx update packages
provided to customers on the API support website, with no "disassembly"
or other tampering of the files. You will also of course need your own
softWoRx license which you will need to obtain from a functioning
softWoRx installation.
Our microscope is now back to full functionality! Because I spent
several (hundred) hours on this, I thought it would benefit the
community to post a guide for how to do this if you'd like to give it a
try. While my instructions are as detailed and explanatory as possible,
you should only try it if you have some experience with Linux and the
command line interface.
To access the guides, please follow the link below:

and will also update them if I notice anything that doesn't work.
