To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy ***** Most of the time I just pour distilled water over the tip and suck of the remaining drop with a tissue. If there is real dirt (crystals, silicone) I use wood sticks with soft, fat free, medical quality cotton wrapped around and moistened with Water or Methanol. If necessary, I do this under the stereo microscope. The is a manual from Zeiss, called the clean microscope (or in German das saubere Mikroskop) which explains some of the dos and don'ts: http://www.zeiss.com/C125792900358A3F/0/3C1DAE76330E42F7C12579EC0028F56B/$FILE/50-1-0025_the_clean_microscope_e.pdf Steffen On 05.06.2013 22:52, Claire Brown, Dr. wrote: > ***** > To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: > http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy > ***** > > Does anyone have a good protocol for cleaning dipping lenses? > > Sincerely, > > Claire > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > CANADIAN CYTOMETRY AND MICROSCOPY SYMPOSIUM - MONTREAL JUNE 13-15 - http://www.regonline.com/ccma-accm2013 > > Claire M.
