The Clemson Light Imaging Facility is hosting its 3rd Annual Light Microscopy Symposium, "Exploring the Magnificent Microcosm" on October 20, 2016.  As part of this event, the CLIF is also holding its 3rd Annual Light Micrograph Competition, "HOOKEd on Microscopy." The public is invited to submit light micrographs through midnight on September 15, 2016.  Three expertly judged entries will receive Visa gift cards ($300-1st prize; $200-2nd prize; $100-3rd prize). In addition, one "people's choice" winner will be selected through facebook voting and will receive a $100 Visa gift card.
