Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this finds you well.

I'm writing to you because I would like to share with you our project. We
are 3 engineering students from the Australian National University.  For
our honors year project, we worked with Dr Steve W.M Lee on his hanging
droplet lens fabrication technique (reference: "Fabricating low cost and
high performance elastomer lenses using hanging droplets").

We have designed a device that simplifies Dr Lee's process and allows
anyone to make their own lenses. The 'Lens Maker' can also make lenses with
varying degrees of magnification. We have used this device to run workshops
at the 2015 National Youth Science forum and for various other schools.

More details here: http://kck.st/1JD2Jpj

To fund our Lens Making workshops we need resources such as 3D printers,
portable ovens and other scientific equipment. Please have a look at our
project and if you find it interesting, back it and share it with your
friends.

Our vision is to start a company that focuses on integrating modern
technology into science classrooms. A child's interest in science must be
nurtured. We hope to get every school in Australia using the Lens Maker
which allows us to introduce new, innovative technologies into science
classrooms.

Thank you for reading, and please email us if you have any questions

Kind regards

Kenny Cen, David Wright and Rachel Watkins
