Applications are now opened to the 2nd EMBO
practical
course on 3D Developmental Imaging, October 1-9, 2010 in Portugal.
This is an intensive course with seminars in
advanced topics
with top-researchers in the field, demonstrations from equipment
vendors as
well as extensive practical sessions where the students will develop
their
projects and use the equipment available.
Topics addressed in seminars and in practicals
include:
Microscopy/imaging development; Fluorescence &
GFP
Multidimensional (3/4D)Imaging
Confocal and Multiphoton Microscopy, OPT,
SPIM/DSLM,
MicroMRI/CT imaging
Analysis of cell movement and tissue morphogenesis
3D Image Processing and analysis
Publication of 3D images/movies
Students are encouraged to bring their own samples!
