Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that the European Microscopy Congress 2020 (https://www.emc2020.eu/) will be hosted in Copenhagen, and is being supported by SCANDEM, and by the Royal Microscopical Society under the auspices of the EMS and IFSM. On behalf of all of these societies and the Organising Committee, we look forward to welcoming you to Copenhagen from 23-28 August 2020.

We would like to note that the focus of the conference will be both on EM as well as light microscopy, with dedicated and parallel sessions for both.

Moreover, we would like to bring your attention to the opening of the CALL FOR OPEN SCIENCE ABSTRACTS. Part of the exhibition floor has been reserved for you to showcase and promote Open Science: We encourage you to submit your Open Science Methodology, Source, Data and Educational Resources, such as image data sets, acquisition methods, and image analysis tools here: https://www.emc2020.eu/conference/open-science.html
