EXFO life science acquisition - Commercial Announcement

Dear Confocalists,

As many of you may have heard, EXFO Life Science and Industrial Division
has been acquired by The Riverside Company (www.riversidecompany.com
<http://email.primarytargetemail.com/t/y/l/ctikrk/nljxutdu/r> ) : a
global private equity firm partnering with strong management teams and
market leading products to enhance the success of its companies through
acquisitions and organic growth.  Going forward under new ownership, our
organization will be called "The Lumen Dynamics Group." While our name
has changed, our commitment to maintaining global leadership in the
design, manufacture and marketing of specialty light based delivery
systems has not. We intend to continue on our rich 26 year history in
the innovative design of light systems for precise and repeatable
control of light based specialty illumination and curing.

What does this mean for you?  There will be no changes to our existing
or potential customers.  The LSI team continues to be an autonomous
group.  Our corporate identity will change to The Lumen Dynamics Group,
however our product branding (X-Cite(r) and Burleigh(r)) will remain the
same.
