We will start a company in a southern city of Guangdong province, China, which will be a joint venture between the Institute of Biophysics (IBP) of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the local government and private investors. The company will focus on scientific and medical devices based on light signals.
We are looking for a director of research and manufacturing for the new company. Individuals with experience with instrument development, particularly with fluorescence correlation spectroscopy, NIR imaging and signal processing, microfluidics, spectrophotometer, optical microscopy, software development are welcome to apply. You will have opportunity to be a share holder of the company, lead a group of researchers and gain important experience in the fast growing Chinese instrument market. Permanent position in the Institute of Biophysics is also possible.
Chinese speaking is preferred but not required. We are also looking to form strategic alliances with companies abroad that wish to access the Chinese market and/or utilize our manufacturing and research capabilities.
