Evotec chip slides

Hi all,

We had great success accomplishing fluorescence spectroscopy in chamber slides called Assay Chips 24/25 manufactured by Evotec Technologies.  These slides were ideal for small volume reactions 10-25 uL critical when samples are limited.  When Evotec was bought out by Perkin-Elmer they discontinued this product.  Does anyone on the list know of a potential alternative?  We have had to resort to Nunc chamber slides for the time which require significantly larger volumes.

Thanks. Neal.

Re: Evotec chip slides

Dear Neal,

I'd suggest to check the Ibidi slides. They are however made of plastic
so if you need glass, then this is not an option (although optical
properties should be similar to glass).

No commercial interest.

Re: Evotec chip slides ***Vendor Response***

Dear Dr. Waxham,

If you want small volume wells on glass coverslips, you might want to look at what Molecular Probes/Invitrogen offers as well.

C24767 8-wells per coverslip area 1.0 mm deep by 6 mm wide and holds 15 -30 μL.
or
C24768 50-wells per coverslip area 1.0 mm deep by 3 mm wide and holds 3 -10 μL.

These are microwells created by thin, removable, medical grade silicon gaskets attached to standard 1.5 coverslips.

Or key word "CultureWell" on our site.
