I am shopping for a new camera and most likely will go with the 2x2k
4-transistor model (e.g. Flash 4.2+ or Zyla 4.2+ or PCO edge 4.2) because
of the speed and detection limit.
However, for a less demanding applications I am intrigued by a back-
thinned sCMOS (at least the manufacturer claims that to be sCMOS), the
Dhyana 95 from Tucsen, which has 95% peak QE.
It has higher read noise (1.3e-), bigger pixels, slower frame rate and other
limitations, but if you had a chance to work with the camera, I would love
to know how it performs for general/low light fluorescence microscopy ...
Thanks in advance.
