Beatson FLIM and FRET course

Wednesday 3rd & 4th September 2014.

The Beatson Advanced Imaging Resource (BAIR) in partnership with Lambert Instruments, Nikon Instruments UK and LaVision Biotec invite you to a unique workshop covering all aspects of FLIM- FRET microscopy.

The workshop is structured to be suitable for all levels of experience from beginners to advanced users. It will consist of a series of lectures from experts in FLIM and FRET as well as talks from the companies involved in developing FLIM and FRET microscopy systems. The 3rd September will consist of a full programme with lectures and hands on sessions. The 4th is optional and reserved for attendees who wish a more in-depth training on one or more of the systems covered on the first day. You are welcome to bring your own samples to the sessions on the second day.

Topics will include:
Frequency Domain FLIM-FRET
Time Correlated Single Photon Counting FLIM-FRET
Sensitised Emission FRET
Round table sessions with speakers and representatives.
