WEBINAR DETAILS
--------------------------------------------------------------
Photometric image measurement is critical for advanced quantitative
low-light biological imaging. The ground-breaking introduction of science’s
first “intelligent” camera, Photometrics’ Evolve 512, represents a
significant advancement in quantitative, on-chip electron multiplied (EMCCD)
imaging, and promises to deliver confidence and accuracy of quantitative
measurement, increased signal to noise ratio, enhanced ease of use and
advanced functionality.

In this 1 hour web seminar, learn how this new technology will accelerate
the speed of scientific discovery in applications such as Photo-Activated
Localization Microscopy (PALM), Stochastic Optical Reconstruction Microscopy
(STORM), spinning disk confocal microscopy, Total Internal Reflection
Fluorescence (TIRF) microscopy, cell trafficking studies, live-cell
fluorescent protein imaging, and Single Molecule Fluorescence (SMF).

Areas to be covered include:
- EMCCD cameras
- Calculating pixel values in terms of electrons (QuantView)\
- Real time Spurious Event Identification and elimination (BERT)

This session requires attendees to use a Java-enabled browser with a high
bandwidth connection.  There is no charge to participate in this on-line
seminar.
