Dear All
I am a new member in this list. I would like to do FRET/FLIM between two
proteins for which I have observed in  vitro binding.

Would you direct me towards the first reading(s) which will help me in chalking
out a work flow including microscopy and software.

I have 4 years of experience in Confocal microscopy on fixed cells.

Thank you in advance.

Have a good Sunday.

Hi Sunando
There are number of papers available, you can visit our web site to see it or you can Google it.
I also edited a book on FLIM microscopy and this book is focused for both beginners and experts. You can visit amazon.com to see the book prize.
If you wanted to get hands on training you can join our FRET workshop and you can get hands on training on FRET-FLIM techniques. This workshop is focused for beginners, morning theory and afternoon hands on training on various FRET microscopy techniques with live cells or you can bring your own cells to test it. Of course you can get a free FLIM microscopy book too as a part of the workshop tuition fee.
Visit the web site to register and there is no fee for registration. The workshop is during March 11-16, 2013. http://www.kcci.virginia.edu/workshop/workshop2013/index.php
Hope this helps.

Dear Prof. Periasamy
Thank you very much for your reply. It is too close for me to attend
this year's workshop. I would try in the next year.
Thank you. I will have a look at your book.
Best regards
Sunando

I would also mention another excellent book on this topic that was published about the same time, and which did a very good job of summarizing the state of the art (no commercial interest):
