A few months ago we got a new computer with FLUOVIEW ver4.2a from Olympus to upgrade our 8-year old system. Since then, we get an intermittent z-scan error. When the system gets to the last slice it freezes and just keeps scanning. Sometimes you can press "Stop" button and save you scan, but more often then not you have to force quite and re-start the software. You can imagine this drives some of my users crazy as the last thing you want is to restart your 30-minute z-scan yet again... Olympus says that they never heard about this issue before and have not been able to solve it so far. Thanks, Alex |

Service visit seemed to have fixed it. However--problem just returned last week.
