Further regarding ‘Kinetic Imaging’, Marcin Barszczewski
of Andor Technology, has contacted me and Andor Qi [the modern version of Kinetic
Imaging’s AQM] can support cameras from Hamamatsu and Roper as well as a
few more from other manufacturers. My comments regarding Kinetic Imaging relate
to Kinetic Imaging just prior to them being acquired by Andor a few years ago [I
thought I was replying to Ian off-list].

Keith

Dear
Keith,
I
have seen your post on Confocal Microscopy group and I thought I would send you
an up-to-date list of currently supported devices. These include cameras from
Hamamatsu and Roper as well as a few more from other manufacturers.
Kinetic’s
original AQM has been renamed Andor iQ and extensively modified to control
Andor’s spinning disk confocal. We are currently working on next
generation of iQ which will be based on Python scripting allowing its users to
create and use many custom acquisition and analysis tools freely available from
the community.
Best regards,
Marcin
