Subject: Microscopy/Microanalysis Summer School at Liquid Crystal Institute Characterization Facility, Kent State University
Dear Colleagues,
Our Microscopy/Microanalysis Summer School 2018 will be held on July 12, 13, 16 and 17 at Liquid Crystal Institute, Kent State University. Please find our 2nd announcement in the attachment.
We'll have 8 instructors from KSU, UAkron, CWRU, CCF, and NEOMED. The summer school will mainly cover TEM, SEM, AFM, Tof-SIMS, XPS, Auger, X-ray CT, XRF, XRD, quantitative biological light microscopy, cryo-EM, sample preparation, etc. The event is also co-organized by ACESS (Akron Council of Engineering and Scientific Societies) and MSNO (Microscopy Society of Northeastern Ohio.
The online registration is free. The link is
