This initial appointment is a three-year, renewable appointment. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree and have demonstrated potential to become an established independent investigator, including evidence of a strong publication record with areas of interest including, but not limited to: imaging complex excitable cellular networks, developing novel imaging technologies, and studying the dynamics of cardiovascular and neuronal systems. The successful candidate will be expected to design and develop an independent research program catalyzing interdisciplinary research. The candidate will also contribute to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level as well as supervise/mentor students in one or more departments within the Faculty of Medicine. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
