The 2014 Frontiers in BioImaging meeting will take place this year as a key and integral component of mmc2014. More than 1500 scientists using all types of microscopy across the Physical and Life Sciences will take part in the meeting, to be held in Manchester from 30th June - 3rd July 2014. The Frontiers in BioImaging meeting is one of 4 parallel sessions covering all branches of microscopy. The full mmc2014 programme has been designed to allow the Frontiers in BioImaging community to attend any of the other sessions taking place, which may be of interest. You can submit an abstract to the Frontiers in BioImaging sessions now! Abstracts can be submitted through the Online Submission system, please click here to get started! <http://goo.gl/dPKHHj> If you encounter any problems, please simply contact the RMS who will be able to help. There are detailed instructions on how to register on the system and upload your abstract. Abstracts are chosen subject to an online reviewing process. *Abstract Submission deadline is Thursday 13th March at 11.59pm.* *Further information on the meeting* · Frontiers in BioImaging 4 sessions: o Imaging beyond the diffraction limit<http://www.mmc2014.org.uk/~mmc2014/conference/life-sciences-sessions/frontiers-bioimaging-imaging-beyond-diffraction-limit/>organised by Dr Susan Cox and Professor Michelle Peckham o Correlative Light Electron Microscopy (CLEM)<http://www.mmc2014.org.uk/~mmc2014/conference/life-sciences-sessions/frontiers-bioimaging-correlative-light-electron-microscopy-clem/>organised by Dr Paul Verkade and Dr Chris Guerin o Emerging 3D Microscopy<http://www.mmc2014.org.uk/~mmc2014/conference/life-sciences-sessions/frontiers-bioimaging-emerging-3d-microscopy/>organised by Dr James Swoger and Dr Emmanuel Reynaud o Label Free Microscopy<http://www.mmc2014.org.uk/~mmc2014/conference/life-sciences-sessions/frontiers-bioimaging-label-free-microscopy/>organised by Dr Peter O'Toole and Dr Gail McConnell · Plenary speakers are Prof. Mike Sheetz, Dr Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz and Prof. Ernst Stelzer along with the Frontier in BioImaging Internationally-leading confirmed invited speakers: Prof. Hari Shroff, Dr Martin Booth, Prof. Pascal Fua, Dr Cristina Risco Dr Paula Murphy, Dr Emmanuel Beaurepaire, Dr Peter O'Toole and Dr Hermann Offenhaus · · There will be two 2-hour poster sessions with prizes for the best posters · There will be a Frontiers in BioImaging social function on the evening of Tuesday 1st July, an ideal opportunity for networking.
