Dear Group--
We have an Olympus FV300 that we've used for a multiphoton microscope.
After disassembling it to move it to a different room, the galvos no
longer would scan: in fact, the mirrors jammed into each other and a
fuse on the scan board blew.
We unplugged the galvos and checked the voltages going into them.  We
found >20 volts to pin 8 on the plug to one of the galvos (M-, according
the the spec sheet for the galvo) and 14 v. on pin 5 (AGC).  The other
pins showed little or no output.
Any thoughts on what the problem might be--or more importantly, the cure????
Thanks--
Martin Wessendorf
