Dear all,

we are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the
GerBI-GMB Core Facility Management Course, which will take place from
the 18 th - 22 nd of June 2018 in Konstanz - Reichenau Island (Germany).
In 2013 the course was initiated by the German BioImaging Network, 2018
marks the first year that German BioImaging – Gesellschaft für
Mikroskopie und Bildanalyse e.V. (Society for Microscopy and Image
Analysis) will organise the Core Facility Management Course.

Core facility managers find themselves in a variety of different roles
that demand a broad set of skills they traditionally haven't been taught
in their academic career. GerBI-GMB has hired hfp consulting, a group
who specialises in supporting scientists to improve their leadership and
management skills, to develop and run an intense, interactive and highly
specialised workshop that addresses these challenges.
