Dear all,

Here's some fun weekend reading for those excited by light-sheet microscopy
and open science:

Follow us here: https://twitter.com/AndrewGYork/status/1138963271594020864

Read the publication here:

Apologies for the shameless self promotion, only once every >5 years I
promise.

Thanks,

Dear Alfred--

Personally, I like this kind of self-promotion.  Interesting instrument.

Thanks!

Dear Alfred,

thanks for sharing.

I am wondering, what is the difference to the SCAPE approach from E.
Hillman's group? (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4317333/)
The beam path geometry appears to be similar.

Sorry if this is not obvious to me.

Best

Steffen

Hi Steffen,

Yes unlike previous implementations "we sacrifice no appreciable numerical
aperture with no measurable loss in resolution". My Focus on Microscopy
2019 presentation slides
<https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vRIwXpX4IkhVHNha-SlVtEIfNCyUP2Lgmd0w3sIYsaPcLyWO93ec1NDzQRGg6Ws8N22PvYaNCGyIjB9/pub?start=false&loop=false&delayms=60000&slide=id.p>
give a nice overview of how this works. Link also available on website:

Thanks for your interest,

Alfred.
