I am working on an automated RNA FISH protocol in a 384 well plate format and am looking to preserve processed plates as long as possible. Following staining and fixing, we currently hold the cells in 2X SSC. We are looking to use slow fade or something similar to prevent the cell preparation from bleaching or deteriorating. We are looking to avoid Vectashield for cost reasons. Any ideas/established successful multi-well mounting tips would be appreciated.
